090831: Quidditchutmaningen - The Grande Finale

Det sagolika avslutet på quidditchutmaningen är äntligen här! Låt mig utvärdera: Har jag fått bättre kondition? Tveksamt. Har jag orkat springa en mil? Haha jag sprang 6km en gång, det var sjukt jobbigt. Min favoritrunda är på 4,5 km men jag brukar försöka springa 5 och det är jag nöjd med. Har jag skapat goda vanor? Jajamen! :] Nu till siffrorna!

De senaste fem dagarna har jag...

Gått: 22,5
Cyklat: 24,1
Joggat: 9,0
Totalt: 55,6


Detta betyder att jag under hela quidditchutmaningen
har samlat ihop totalt
310,2 km!!!

Det är långt nog för att ta mig hela vägen från Stockholm till Karlstad!
(Det borde verkligen ha ordnats ett Quidditch-SM där!)

Det läcker under min diskho. D: Jag orkar inte ens skriva något mer än att bara redovisa de sämsta siffrorna hittills.

090825: UK Snow Ball

Alla svenska Harry Potter-fans har blivit officiellt inbjudna till konserten Snow Ball i skotska huvudstaden Edinburg den 18 december! Band som kommer att spela är RiddleTM, Romilda Vane and the Chocolate Cauldrons, The Black Sisters och Siriusly HazzaP. Läs hela inbjudan här nedan:




Hi there,

I am writing to invite you and other Harry Potter fans you know to come over to the UK this Christmas for a wizard rock concert called the Snow Ball. It is being held in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh, which is a beautiful and truly magical city (especially at Christmas!) and is of course the city where JK Rowling lives!

The Snow Ball is taking place on Friday 18th December 2009, in a fabulous venue called The Lot. It even looks like a part of Hogwarts! Inside it has lovely high wooden ceilings which look similar to Great Hall. In fact it's overlooked by Edinburgh Castle, which is JK's original inspiration behind Hogwarts.

Tickets are £10.00 each and can be purchased Here. The price is due to increase to £15.00 per ticket from 1st November, so be sure to book early!

Please note that due to the venue licence, the event is only open to those aged 14 and over.

The lineup includes fabulous UK WRock bands:

RiddleTM.
As well as being regulars in the UK Wrock scene, Riddle TM played at Terminus and Wrock Chicago in 2008 and were the only non-US band to play at LeakyCon 2009. They are also a multi-award winning band having picked up four Wizard Rock People's Choice Awards this year, including Best International Band and Best Female Vocals.

Romilda Vane and the Chocolate Cauldrons
Romilda also appeared at Wrock Chicago last year, as well as joining the Witch Wrock Tour in NYC this May. She has also played a some UK events including the Yule Ball 2008 and PotterRocks in Birmingham. And a few months ago she was heard giving John Noe a hard time during "Are You Smarter than John Noe" on PotterCast!

The Black Sisters
Evil never look so good as it did at the Yule Ball 2008 when the Black Sisters fought off the flu to give only their second live performance. Prior to that they played at PotterRocks 2007, and you might just come across them on YouTube where there are 164 episodes of the Black Sister Show!

Siriusly HazzaP
These girls are seriously hard core UK Wrockers! Not only will they make sure you get your butts on the dancefloor, but they've also played at every UK Wizard Rock show there's been! That includes events like PotterRocks, Accio Wrock, the Yule Ball 2008, and earlier this year the Hogwarts Spring Fling & Hogwarts Jamboree.

Get together with fellow Harry Potter fans to celebrate the festive season in a truly magical way as we wrock out to Harry Potter music and dance the night away!!

090825: Waddiwazi och Fangirls

Ett nytt wrockband har skapats av två tjejer vid namn Siri och Jazz. De kallar sig för The Fangirls, och en uppdatering kommer så snart de har skapat sin MySpace. Ett annat band som har skapat en hemsida är Östersundska Waddiwazi.
